Pinanwal

Pinanwal is a major town of tehsil Pind Dadan Khan district Jhelum. it is located on main road Jhelum-Pind Dadankhan almost 60 Kms from Jhelum and $0 Kms from PD khan. The town is named on the Grand father of Jalip Rajpoots of the area Raja Panjan Khan. the town is thickly populated with leading cast of Jalips and few other casts of jats. The famous personalities presently of the town are Raja lehraseb ali advocate,Raja Riasat ali Ex-chairman of Rwp education board and Raja shafqat ali. In past the town was lead by Raja Allah Dad khan untill late 60's. The town has rich fertile land and is main market of agriculture products in entire tehsil. The town has a handsome contribution in the armed forces of the country Brig Imtiaz,Brig M.ali,LtCol Nasir,Capt Mohsin(shaheed) and Maj Raza are the few examples.
